Alida Kraven


Shangrila: Why did you start doing yoga?
Alida: For my health. It was recommended by my Alternate Health Practitioner to stretch out my stress and gain inner focus.

S: What made you decide to become a yoga instructor?
A: Yoga practice worked so well for my well-being that I thought I might be able to share it with others.

S: What part of your practice are you focusing on now?
A: Daily breathing and poses that help my posture. Hanumanasana (Splits) is interesting. Most of my focus is creating sequences of postures that flow together nicely to make a dance-like experience for myself and students.

S: What is your favourite yoga moment?
A: Relaxation after an awesome class.
