Valerie Giles } Valerie is an experienced Yoga teacher that has been teaching for over 25 years.
She can accommodate many styles and injuries with lots of variations. Class is set for all levels and can be adjusted difficulty wise to suit your preference by communicating with the teacher to help guide you on your personal journey.
Kathy Russell } Kathy Russell brings you to your mat in a very gentle easy class. Recommended for beginners and those who are learning to listen and reconnect with themselves. Relearn your body with gentle breathing and movements bringing your lightest self onto the map as you bring kindness into your consciousness and practice while exploring oneself the moment and deepening your breathe.
Tina Lashambe } Tina brings a background in restorative yoga. She teaches a class designed around the students on that particular day and trys to find out what everyones body is saying for the day and what they are looking for from that class. Each of her classes are unique in that they revolve around the students offering variations and restorative poses to hold onto postures longer and bring in your breath work.
Catherine Chamberlain } Catherine teaches a slow, calming class to stretch and strengthen the body gradually. Emphasizing the connection between breath and movement.
Cynthia Galloway } Class focuses on flowing from pose to pose and linking movement with breath. A variety of modifications will be offered to encourage participation of everyone, from non-intimidating options for newer students to suggestions for challenging variations for more experienced students.
Yoga for a Healthy Nervous System

Yoga offers a systematic, time-tested approach to meeting our current state of being. Yoga is a skillful and nourishing approach to relating to our inner and outer worlds. Yoga offers us tools to calm the nervous system while increasing vitality and resiliency in life thus creating more well-being!
This class will provide folx an opportunity to practice in a trauma-informed environment. We will practice gentle asana (postures), energy expansion using the breath (pranayama) and meditations that can be used in our daily round to encourage our health.
Classes will include psycho-education on working with various states of being; such as anxiety and depression. We will draw on the Yoga sutras, Somatic Experiencing (SE) and Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy (MBCT).
Every Body welcome. No prior Yoga experience is necessary.
