This immersive 100-hour training offers an embodied exploration of Trauma-Informed Yin Yoga for yoga facilitators, educators, wellness practitioners, caregivers, and those beginning their journey into mind-body facilitation.
The program brings together nervous-system literacy, interoceptive awareness, invitational language, Yin Yoga philosophy, foundational principles, and functional anatomy.

Joan Mortimer
Joan Mortimer has been sharing the practice of yoga for over 10 years and brings a lifetime of experience in movement, wellness, and mindful living to her classes.
With more than 500 hours of training in Hatha Yoga, Yin Yoga, Taoist Yoga, Meditation, and Active Release techniques, she creates practices that support strength, flexibility, balance, and inner calm.
Drawing inspiration from both Taoist wisdom and modern movement practices, Joan encourages students to move with awareness, breathe deeply, and reconnect with their natural rhythm. Her classes are welcoming to all levels.
A harmonious blend of flowing movement and nourishing stillness. This balanced practice invites you to build energy, release tension, and leave feeling grounded, refreshed, and restored.
